Henstone Single Malt English Whisky – Ex-Bourbon Cask Aged (handwritten label on the back notes the batch number), latest edition. This ex-bourbon cask aged whisky uses a mix of casks, including Jack Daniels, Heaven Hill, and Jim Beam, among others.

Bottled at 43.8%.

Each release is SINGLE CASK, limited to around 300–350 bottles.

This beautifully smooth single malt whisky is mashed, distilled, aged, and bottled at Henstone Distillery. Like all Henstone products, it is not chill-filtered or coloured.

Nose - Ripe red apples and cream soda. Fruit and nut mix or dairy milk fruit and nut bar!.

Palate - Its deceptively smooth! Most of the action is mid tongue, lovely warmth and the nuttiness comes through over the fruit for me, quite intriguing actually. Long finish too which is great..

Finish - Its young on the nose and you can’t deny that, but it’s got layers of flavour and the finish seriously belies its age. A really impressive dram!
