rarest accolade

highland park 1970 Aged 54 Years

This 54-year-old Highland Park marks the inaugural release of 'The Accolade' by Duncan Taylor Whisky; the pinnacle of spirit within their esteemed Rarest Collection. Distilled in 1970, cask number 3254 was selected to showcase the distillery's unparalleled quality and hallmark character. In addition, it represents the oldest age statement Highland Park released by an independent bottler; an overall testament to Duncan Taylor's steadfast commitment to exceptional quality, tradition, and the pursuit of perfection.

Housed in an elegantly finished cabinet accented with a dynamic wave, the spirit reveals itself within an evocative hand-crafted dagger decanter; complemented by the themed wave in the form of an illuminated copper plinth. A certificate of authenticity and handling kit containing handling gloves are housed in either side of the cabinet.

the distillery

Highland park

Since 1798, Highland Park has crafted their award-winning, lightly-peated whisky at their Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define their whisky, but it’s Orkney that sets it apart. From their island home, they harness the influence of the salty sea winds that shape Orkney’s coastlines and the intensely floral character of their heather-rich peat to create Highland Park’s uniquely complex balance of sweet and smoky flavours.
