This set includes 4 x 70cl bottles of the following
Yamazaki Golden Promise First grown in Scotland in the 1960s, Golden Promise Barley is an exceptional grain variety. Learned from scotch, first distilled in 2009 and matured in American Oak casks, the use of Golden Promise has resulted in a Yamazaki as malty and rich. Often used as the base of Yamazaki flagship SKUs like 12YO, this wellrounded liquid stabilizes the flavor of Yamazaki when it comes to composing with others like Mizunara and Spanish oak liquids.
Yamazaki Islay Peated Malt Islay Peat often recognized as the distinctive character amongst scotch, it brings out softer and sweeter mouthfeel than Scotland’s mainland peat. In particular, the water and maturation process of Yamazaki results in a sweetness that balances the smoke, truly embodying Tsukuriwake that goes beyond the selection of ingredients but also on the process and soul place all combined to create the Yamazaki flavor.
Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara (Tsukuriwake 2024 Edition) Known as the signature enhancer of the brand, throughout House of Suntory’s long history using Mizunara casks, the blenders have observed that age is the key to unlocking the signature taste of this unique cask. A long maturation period unveils the distinctive spiciness and incense-like flavor of sandalwood and aloe wood that comprises this 100% Mizunara whisky.
The Yamazaki 18-Year-Old Mizunara launched last year for the House of Suntory’s 100th anniversary. This flagship whisky has been re-released under a limited-edition label within the 2024 Tsukuriwake Series to honour the key ingredients in Suntory flagship single malt whiskies.
Hakushu Peated Malt 18 Years Old (Tsukuriwake 2024 Edition) Throughout our long history using this malt, the blenders have observed that Hakushu’s climate and age are the key to unlocking the signature taste of this unique ingredient, typically known as strong and distinct smokiness. A long maturation period in the land of Hakushu where the water is exceptionally pure and soft, it reveals the Japanese smoky that is spicy, peppery welcome, a slow and deliberate wave of clean smoke that deepens as it reveals the quintessentially Hakushu herbaceous mineral notes and fruity undertones of ripe apples.
This is a set of four 70cl bottles of this collection.
