The Balvenie 14-year-old Caribbean Cask uses the double cask aging process perfected by Balvenie Malt Master David Stewart MBE. The whisky is first aged in traditional oak casks before being transferred to American oak casks previously filled with Caribbean rum. The double aging process allows the traditional casks to impart the classic Balvenie flavours which are then beautifully complemented by the flavours left behind by the rum. This combination results in a brilliant Speyside with distinct notes of fruit and vanilla with a creamy palate – a perfect dram for traditional and unique tastes.
