Whilst the virgin cask still has their house-style of big juicy Canadian malt and super-charged fruity esters, the result continues to be sweet, delicate, and with floral dessert wine notes which balances beautifully with the virgin oak. In fact, the spirit underpinning this single malt whisky won a gold medal and came World top 3 in the new-make category at the World Whisky Awards.
