Glenglassaugh Sandend is inspired by the crescent beach of Sandend Bay where the distillery resides. Enriched in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks, over time the lush flavour of Glenglassaugh Sandend brightens into waves of tropical sweetness, infused with a crack of sea salt.

I simply compare to Glenmorangie, which is my favourite. This compares favourably. I would buy again. Bought five others for a whisky tasting.

Fresh, bright, salty and zingy

This is very spirit forward. Just my lane.

While it will take water I’ve found it flattens a little so have chosen to embrace the ethanol tartness.

This is the whisky equivalent of drinking straight cordial. If you can handle the assault to the senses it it’s full of intense wonderful flavours. Price depending I think I’d like to have access to this one at all times.
