Longrow 100 Proof combines bourbon and red wine cask maturation at cask strength. Expect redcurrant and vanilla on the nose with savoury undertones, building peat smoke with tobacco and leather on the palate, and a spiced finish of chilli and cherry menthol with lingering smoke.
Nose - Notes of redcurrants, Madagascan vanilla, tiger prawns, salami and peppercorns introduce this dram, with an ashy note present from the start.
Palate - The peat smoke builds on the palate, with notes of tobacco, cigar smoke, dark fruits and leather.
Finish - A spiciness comes to the forefront in the finish notes of chilli peppers, along with cherry menthol and the continuation of the peat smoke.
