Glen Ord 13 Year Old Little Brown Dog

Little Brown Dog’s 100th release took time to arrive. The brand began in a garage, and its founder says care goes into choosing what makes it into each bottle.

This release is personal. The founder remembers sharing drams with his late father, who did not see Little Brown Dog grow from a hobby into the brand it is today. His father-in-law also became a source of fatherly advice. When they meet, they often share old-style Glen Ord from tall, round or square decanter-style bottles—drams associated with many happy memories.

For the 100th release, Little Brown Dog reserved this Glen Ord as a tribute. Two hogsheads were vatted together for a year in an oloroso puncheon. The whisky is bottled at cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural colour. Its label reflects the tribute, finished with a shiny gold capsule.
