The Ardnamurchan Midgie has been crafted to honour Scotland’s most infamous creature the Highland Midge.

This year’s release is a vatting of 34% ex-American bourbon barrels, 49% Ruby Port Barriques and 17% Tawny port casks. It's a split of approximately 70% unpeated spirit and 30% peated spirit.

Nose -Red raspberry, golden syrup, freshly cut cedar, crème de violette, home baked soft almond biscuits, preserved Moroccan lemons in salt brine, lightly smoked Christmas spiced ham.

Palate - Gentle cigar smoke, bramble, lemon thyme, pink peppercorn, piri piri spice, syrup of figs, plum clafoutis, nutmeg.

Finish - Bitter orange, juicy, sea salt, persistently persistent.
