The Dalmore 12-year-old is distinctly rich beyond its years and one of the most popular expressions from one of Scotland’s most iconic distilleries. Dalmore distils this spirit for nine years in American oak casks before transferring half to ex-Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks for the remaining three years. This unique distillation process creates a phenomenal Highland whisky filled with tradition which combines perfectly with the richness and sweetness of the finest sherry.
Nose - Strong citrus scents, hints of vanilla and slight spiciness.
Palate - More citrus fruits and vanilla, drawn from the sherry finish. Chocolate and notes of coffee combined for an aromatic, balanced flavour.
Finish - Medium finish of sherry spices with coffee and chocolate.
