Na Sia, meaning “the six” in Gaelic, represents the unique six cask single malt whisky recipe.
The carefully crafted Isle of Raasay Single Malt combines peated and unpeated spirit matured separately in American rye, chinkapin oak and Bordeaux red wine casks.
The Na Sia Single Cask Series showcases the distinctive flavours of each of these six signature recipe casks.
We release the six cask components of the Na Sia recipe every 2 years. The 3 unpeated casks in the first half, followed by the 3 peated casks in the second half of each year – adding two years of further maturation every time and a chance to taste our whisky as it evolves.
All released as single casks, hand-bottled and age stated. Natural cask strength, non-chill filtered.

Virgin Chinkapin Oak Single Cask Bottling
Freshly charred and toasted, these custom made Chinkapin, or Quercus Muehlenbergii American white oak casks are a type of oak native to central and eastern North America.
The fresh charring of the cask brings a rich colour and flavour early on in the maturation process, and the high toast caramelises the natural sugars in the wood. Expect sweet toffee and butterscotch on the nose, with vibrant dark fruit flavours and deep, rich colours at a young age.
Released every 2 years as peated and unpeated spirit.
