This 19-year-old Highland Park single malt was matured in a single cask by Duncan Taylor in 2004, reaching a strength of 54.7% ABV before being bottled in 2024. It was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards for its exceptional taste.

Nose - Soft caramel and butterscotch intertwined with the typical HP heather honey. Slight touches of leafy eucalyptus and new leather. With time a more fruity side emerges, sweet citrus and pomegranate.

Palate - Creamy and syrupy. The heather honey persists. More fruity than the nose, crème brûlée with orange syrup, stewed berries and a soft peppermint note. The sweetness fades as a dark bitter chocolate emerges. Nicely balanced with all well integrated.

Finish - Long, and becoming a tad drier. The spiciness of toasted oak takes over from the sweeter palate. Salted almonds with more leather. Coats the palate with a well balanced warming spice. Very satisfying.
