Caol Ila Moch is a lighter, sweet and smoky whisky from the Isle of Islay. Its distillery, called 'cull-eela', is located on the North Eastern shores with breath taking views of the Sound of Islay and the Paps of Jura. It is a hidden gem nestled in Scotland's beautiful scenery, near the fast-flowing water that separates Islay from Jura.

Nose - Like wet, salty sand after the tide has receded, with antiseptic notes. Some smoke behind, as from an old bonfire.

Palate - Unreduced, sweet and salty with a balancing acidity, Caol Ila’s trademark smoky-antiseptic character is here.

Finish -  Quite short, drying and warming with a little bitterness. Lingering smoky aftertaste.
