This Port Dundas was distilled in 1971 it was allowed to mature in oak casks for 51 years and was bottled in the  at cask strength 46.8%, with no colouring or chill filtration. It is a single cask DT60106432 that produced a limited amount of  bottles.

"Located on a hill overlooking much of central Glasgow the site always seemed to be a strange place to be. However it was serviced by the Forth & Clyde Canal for many years before vehicular access was possible. The distillery is now gone but old bonded warehouses just across the road from the distillery offer some of the most desirable apartments in Glasgow. In its later days the distillery was owned by Diageo. Getting large road tankers into the site became constantly more difficult as the city grew around the distillery and that was one of the reasons for closure." Ian Logan Duncan Taylor Senior Spirits Manager.

Duncan Taylor is renowned for the quality and breadth of its casks of single grain scotch whiskies. The whiskies are matured at their original distilleries to allow them to mature in the environment they which they were distilled in keeping as much of the distilleries' character as possible, they are only bottled when they reach the optimum age and quality.
