An excellent live tasting

The quality of the whiskies supplied was excellent, not a poor dram amoung them. Some from uncommon ditilleries to find on sale as single malts. Really good to have representatives of each of the three bottlers talk us through the drams and their companies.
It would be great to have a more of a head to head - so maybe rounds with same region (or even distillery) or same cask type or same finnishing cask or whatever.
Brilliant tasting - and as there were 9 samples, I have enough left to get the recording and do it all again!

That was one of (if not THE) best whisky tasting evenings I have ever participated in. Great hosts and a truly stunning array of drams from a wide range of distilleries (as finished by the independent bottlers). An eye-opener for the quality of the offerings from these independent bottlers. More please!
