Batch #3 of this unique 40-year-old blend was laid down to marry in 1998 in refill sherry butts, then finished in ex-Islay quarter casks. A sip transports the senses to a golden beach in Rio, where the smoky aroma of grilled meats lingers in the air. Juicy bursts of mango, pineapple, and citrus dance across the palate, layered with soft vanilla and toasted coconut. A gentle smokiness brings a savoury depth, balancing the tropical sweetness with hints of fire and spice.
