A very approachable peated Speyside from the Tomintoul Distillery that is deliciously sweet, smooth and smokey. Made with pure ingredients in a natural environment, the Tomintoul Peaty Tang whisky has a smooth and mellow character, and is deservedly award-winning. It's been made with a peated malt barley to give a deep smoky flavour, creating a unique flavour not often seen elsewhere in Speyside. The Tomintoul Distiller was opened in 1964, and has been producing fine whiskies every since, using traditional techniques dating back for centuries.
Nose - Heathery smoke balanced with subtle floral tones.
Palate - Gentle peat-reek flavours with a hint of malty nuttiness.
Finish - Lingering smoke and peat with a touch of sweetness.
