Taking inspiration from MacNair’s discovery of the delights of a dram beside a smoky peat fireplace, Master Blender Billy Walker has drawn upon his half century’s experience in blending to develop a recipe fit for a traditional Scottish toast to long life; “Lang may yer lum reek”.
Billy has sourced the finest vintage Speyside and Islay Single Malts, then blended with aged GlenAllachie, in pursuit of the perfect balance between peat and rich, fruity character. The spirit was then laid to rest in premium American oak barrels, sherry casks, and French oak barriques. As time passes, the flavours marry and extract additional characteristics from the wood.

Nose: Sweet peat reek, butterscotch, warming mocha, and gentle nutmeg
Palate: Lashings of heather honey, rich toffee, and sweet spices, all with undertones of peat
