Isle of Harris Gin 45% 700ml Gin

 On the Isle of Harris, part of the larger island of Lewis And Harris in the Outer Hebrides, in the village of Tarbert the award-winning Isle of Harris Gin is made. Every drop distilled in a small copper gin still known as 'The Dottach', before being bottled and sealed by hand  in a beautifully designed bottle that captures the elemental nature of the Isle of Harris, while its contents reward the discerning gin drinker with refreshing maritime pleasures.

The spirit is softened by the fresh, low-mineral rainwaters which flow from the nearby source stream of Abhainn Cnoc a ’Charrain. The inclusion of local, hand-harvested Sugar Kelp, gathered sustainably by hand from local sea-lochs, speaks of the island's deep connections to the sea while working with eight other carefully chosen botanicals. Some of which are: The best Juniper berries first and foremost, sourced from Macedonia for their high quality, providing the dry gin character familiar to us all, giving green notes of leaf and pine.

Coriander seed provides citrus and spice flavours, with discreet orange and grapefruit twists.

Cassia bark lends a gentle bitterness to the mix, as well as bringing the welcome warmth of cinnamon and a degree of mixed spice.

Angelica root gives some sweet floral notes and adds to the wider green grassy and herbal aspects of our spirit.
