The Island of Islay is famous for its intensely flavoursome and often heavily peated whiskies. This new release offers a medium peated finish; the spirit takes softness and sweetness from Oloroso and specially selected Bodegas Fundador cask maturation. 

The cask number 65 is 1st fill EU Oloroso HHD (broken down from Butt) 20 YO use with Bodegas Fundador, in which a 15 month finish produced 357 bottles filled with young spirit  at 11 years-old but it delivers on flavour and intensity.

Nose - Bold fragrances of candle smoke, coastal peat and Parma Violet.

Palate - The palate brings dark chocolate, coffee, seaweed, bacon salad and sweet balsamic glaze.

Finish - Sweet and smokey finish.
