The Glenkinchie 12 Year Old replaces the discontinued 10 year-old as the main expression of the Lowland style. Glenkinchie distillery was founded in 1825 in the farmland around Edinburgh as Milton distillery. It was renamed to Glenkinchie in 1837 and had became a global sensation by the end of the 1980s.
Nose - Notes of barley sweetness and nutty aromasdominate the nose.Light and fresh.
Taste - Very fruity on the palate with some oak.
Finish - Medium length. Fresh and clean finish on the palate.
