Glasgow 1770 Amarone Cask Finish is a six-year-old single malt from The Glasgow Distillery’s Small Batch Series - a range created to explore bold cask finishes and experimental whisky making.

This limited edition began life as the distillery’s fruity, unpeated double-distilled spirit, matured for 5 years in first fill ex-Bourbon barrels. It was then laid down for a further 1 year and 8 months in rich Italian Amarone wine barriques, allowing the whisky to draw out layers of vibrant red fruit and elegant floral character.

Bottled at 53% ABV, the result is a wonderfully expressive single malt, full of juicy berry notes, delicate blossom sweetness and a gentle white pepper spice.
