Nose - Quite green, thick. Herbal, nutty, oily. Almond.

Palate - Medium, oily. Honey, pine oil. Malt, almond.

Finish - Quite long, dry, touch of anise.

Too subtle for me

This was a very gentle dram, a tiny hint of peat, but for me rather empty and disappointing. For the money there are so many much better, loch Lomond 12, Arran 10, Bunnahabhain 12 etc etc etc. I rescued it by blending in something with some umph!
