A rich mahogany single malt scotch whisky, this is one of the Bunnahabhain family favourites. As 18 long year swept over the land scape this single malt has been slowly evolving into a complex dram with hidden depths. It is intensely warming; with dried fruit, sherry, toffee and spices leading to a rich honeyed nuttiness and the slightest hint of sea salt.
Nose - Sweet salted caramel and honeyed nuts are balanced with notes of sherry-soaked fruit and a touch of nutmeg.
Taste - A fruity bouquet of ripe grapes and apricot, with roasted chestnuts and warming wood spice. Followed by a coastal saltiness with rich oak and sweet sherry.
Finish - Warm spicy finish with notes of sherry and a hint of sea salt.
