Built in 1897 by WP Lowrie and James Buchanan, production started just before the Pattison Whisky crash of the following year. The distillery. latterly became the home of the famous Black and White blended scotch. The whisky itself is heather honey, fresh warm pastries, classic Speyside frutiness overlaid by a stunning nutty milk chocolate finish.

Nose -Dried banana chips, strawberry laces, leather, a touch of pepper.

Taste - Maple syrup, raspberry jam, custard creams, with a lovely warming spice.

Finish - Chocolate orange, cinnamon, sherry sweetness, juicy, mouthcoating.
