This small batch bottling of Tomintoul has been developed by deliberately selecting Tomintoul aged in outstanding ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which are then wedded and finished in hand chosen Cognac casks from France. This "finishing" process A single malt that is beautifully rich, complex, and full-flavored.
Nose - Chestnut, lemon peel, blossom honey, and amaretti biscuits are among the light and uplifting smells, with chamomile and fennel notes as well.
Palate - Rolling tobacco, butterscotch, golden raisins, sugared almonds, and sweet choux pastry were combined.
Finish - White chocolate, panettone, and nutmeg layers transition into spicy ginger flavours.
