A wonderful bottling from Gordon & Macphail released into their Connoisseurs Choice range, this 22 year old displays the typical Tomintoul soft Speyside characteristics enhanced by the ex bourbon cask maturation.
Nose - Sweet citrus notes give way to honeydew melon and walnut. Fresh apple and crystallised violet combine with subtle coconut.
Taste - Pineapple and mango complement vibrant honey. Seville orange leads to hazelnut and mature oak.
Finish - Full with lingering tropical fruit.
