Initially this whisky was set aside to become Single Barrel 12 however when it came time to taste it was noted the whisky had picked up a subtle smoky flavour, picked up from being distilled straight after peat week, the barley is not peated at all. The whisky has lived its 14 years in some of our highest quality Bourbon casks.
