Talisker is the only Single Malt whisky to be made on the Isle of Skye. This is an award-winning whisky with wonderful sweetness and warmth, intertwined with just a touch of smoke. Rich and soft but still beautifully powerful. Founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill, Talisker distillery remains faithful to traditional values. A hundred and eighty years of knowledge has been passed down through generations of distillers.

Nose - Rich and fruity Victoria plums, greengages, perhaps dried orange peel with some butterscotch or rum toffee and a thread of smoke behind.

Palate - Sweet in front, then more assertive, with a whiff of smoke. The overall effect is warming. The development is towards smoke, coal-tar and toffee.

Finish - Medium length with the characteristic chilli 'catch' in the finish.
