The peated Ex-Bordeaux Red Wine single cask released as part of their Na Sia Single Cask Bottlings.

Na Sia, meaning “the six” in Gaelic, represents the unique six cask single malt whisky recipe.

The carefully crafted Isle of Raasay Single Malt combines peated and unpeated spirit matured separately in American rye, chinkapin oak and Bordeaux red wine casks.

The Na Sia Single Cask Series showcases the distinctive flavours of each of these six signature recipe casks.

We release the six cask components of our Na Sia recipe every 2 years. The 3 unpeated casks in the first half, followed by the 3 peated casks in the second half of each year – adding two years of further maturation every time and a chance to taste our whisky as it evolves.

All released as single casks, hand-bottled and age stated. Natural cask strength, non-chill filtered.

Stained red on the outside, these high quality Bordeaux red wine casks are delivered fresh to the island from the châteaux of South West France. In the first few months of maturation, our spirit develops a pink hue in these casks, which turns into a deeper, darker red.
