Nose - Earthy peat and smoke is the initial focus but through comes sweetness dried fruit, figs, and fudge as well as mixed spice.

 Palate -The vanilla, honey, toffee from the cask is more prominent smoke swirls softly combining it all, mixed spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon continue.

 Finish - Continues on from the palate with delicate smoke drifts through the sweet notes, hints of nutty spice linger.

Good stuff for the price

I don’t usually buy blends but was tempted by these. Smoke, some honey sweetness, vanilla from the oak and I think a dryness from grain.
