The Balvenie Stories range shares the timeless tales of 'character, endeavour, and craft' passed down by the skilled Balvenie craftsmen. “The Week of Peat” expression pays tribute to the yearly tradition begun in 2002, where one week is dedicated to crafting peated malt, adding a unique, smoky chapter to the distillery's history.
Nose - A delightful blend of sweet peat and floral honey, alongside roasted malt and rich buttery fudge.
Palate - Vanilla and oak char create a perfect harmony with robust smoke, while silky butterscotch and warm baking spices add a touch of sweetness.
Finish - The lingering peat smoke is complimented by delicate floral malt, poached fruits, creamy vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon.
