Grain whisky often needs time to shine, and after 25 years in refill wood, things usually start to get interesting. This small batch comes from five refill bourbon barrels filled at North British on 17/12/1992. Over the decades, evaporation left some with under 40 litres, so the decision was made to vat them into one expressive 32-year-old whisky.

North British is a giant of a distillery, producing 73 million litres of alcohol per year—yet just 567 bottles emerged from these casks.
