The Octave range is where the finest whiskies have a final maturation in ex-sherry octave casks, the spirit is invigorated by the increased wood contact in the smaller casks, bringing you a spectacular dram. This is the first time that the Springbank spirit has had a final maturation in a Duncan Taylor octave cask, the combination of Springbank's robust peaty dram with the Oloroso sherry and increased contact produces a whisky that has far surpassed all expectations.

At the Octave, we use octave casks to mature our whiskies. These casks are smaller than traditional whisky casks, which allows for a more significant interaction between the whisky and the wood. This interaction results in a deeper, richer flavor profile and a more complex whisky.
