A ROYAL APPROVAL

Whisky lovers who add The Macallan 1969, 52 Years Old, Duncan Taylor Rarest Reserve to their collections will be in brilliant company. On 3rd July 2024, King Charles III and Queen Camilla tasted this expression while celebrating the City of Edinburgh’s 900th anniversary in early July. “That hits the spot,” remarked Camilla as she sipped the meticulously aged Speyside single malt.

According to Evan Robertson, Director of Duncan Taylor, the King was “over the moon” about the whisky. A royal stamp of approval like no other.
