A 15-year-old Glenallachie single malt, matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry casks, creating a smooth, rich character. Aromas of raisins, butterscotch and sweet spices fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of dark chocolate, orange peel, banana, raisins, and caramel.

Palate - Walnut, raisin, Christmas spices and fresh ginger.

Finish - Coffee, Turkish delight and just a hint of flaky sea salt.

A really nice dram

Glenallachie never fails to be a smooth enjoyable dram with fantastic after tastes. I rank it in the same league as a nice Balvenie which takes a bit of beating…..
It’s a great distillery to go for a tour as well, one of the best around Aberlour
