Well-sherried single malt distilled by Tomintoul back in August 2000 and left to mature in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt for 19 years.
Nearly two decades later, in February 2020, this whisky was bottled up at 55.8% ABV, with an outturn of 521 bottles.
Nose - Creamy and delicate with hints of ripe banana, raisins and dried pineapple.
Palate - Malty and full with notes of sweet summer fruits and floral freshness.
Finish - Long and toasty with a biscuity sweetness lingering long on the tongue.
