Nàdurra in Gaelic means natural and has been created using traditional 19th century methods, it is bottled at natural cask strength and released in small batches. Unlike most modern whiskies it has not been chill-filtered, resulting in greater body and a distinctively creamy texture and mouth feel delivering all the properties you'd expect from a whisky that has just been drawn straight from the cask. Nàdurra First Fill selection is drawn from casks made from American White Oak, which have never before been used to mature Scotch whisky. These oak casks, a popular choice of distillers at The Glenlivet since the early 1900's, impart hints of creamy vanilla to this wonderfully rich single malt whisky. Capturing the original passion behind George Smith's distillery, Nàdurra First Fill selection continues the highly skilful traditions of whisky making and the legacy of high quality cask maturation which has made The Glenlivet famous.
