The Glendronach Forgue 10 Year Old is a richly sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured in fine Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. A dram which encapsulates the heritage and terroir of Forgue; a cornucopia of brambles, ripe barley and resinous oak, with a long, lingering finish.
Tasting Notes
Nose: A dance of Seville blood orange and cherry, with a ripe barley, roast chestnuts and winter-spiced cocoa.
Palate: Sweet Valencia orange and Morello cherries, with rolling waves of ripe barley. As the flavour deepens, savour dark currants, praline toffee and earthy brambles.
Finish: A richly satisfying, lingering finish of orange-laced tobacco and ground nutmeg.
