Taking inspiration from MacNair’s discovery of the delights of a dram beside a smoky peat fireplace, Master Blender Billy Walker has drawn upon his half century’s experience in blending to develop a recipe fit for a traditional Scottish toast to long life; “Lang may yer lum reek”.
Billy has sourced the finest vintage Islay, Highland and Speyside Single Malts, then blended with aged GlenAllachie, in pursuit of the perfect balance between peat and rich, fruity character. The spirit was then laid to rest in premium Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak casks. As time passes, the flavours marry and extract additional characteristics from the wood. Batch 1 of our 10-year-old is bottled at natural cask strength of 55.4% ABV, with no colour added and non chill filtered for maximum flavour.

Nose: Waves of smoke, heather honey & ginger. Fusing with cinnamon, treacle & vanilla.
Palate: Lashings of dark chocolate, ginger & citrus, with smoked spices, plantains and tannins.
