The Enmore Distillery was located in the Demerara-Mahaica region along the coastal belt of Guyana and was founded nearly 200 years ago by Edward Porter. The Distillery closed in 1993 after the Guyana Government privatised the country’s sugar plantations and distilleries. This expression was distilled on a pot still and is a classic example of fine Demerara Rum. Award winning independent bottler Duncan Taylor is better known for its fabulous range of malt whiskies yet for many years now the company has been producing high quality single cask rums offering a unique cask strength range to the market. Distilled in Guyana at the Enmore Distillery in 1990. Aged 26 years 249 bottles came from cask # 53
Nose - Dark chocolate, honey, Christmas cake and orange peel.
Palate - Caramelised sugar, lemon, white pepper and sherbet.
Finish - Medium and peppery.
