Since 1824 Fettercairn distillery has gone to extraordinary lengths to capture the purest expression of their whisky’s character. The use of pure and clear mountain water is a key element in their whisky-making process. The village of Fettercairn, in which the distillery sits has as rich a history as the distillery. It lies in the heart of rich farming land – a beautiful rural setting which has always attracted visitors.
Nose - Pineapple and melon give way to treacle and banana, with a hint of warm ginger and liquorice.
Palate - Citrus peel and black pepper, tempered by walnuts, vanilla, and spices. Coffee, apricot, and a touch of sweet balsamic complete this rewarding experience.
