This is the eleventh fantastic release from Diageo as part of their ongoing annual special releases. This one is a vatting of whiskies from 1976 and 1977 from refill American oak casks after 35 years of maturation. This 35 year old Brora is bottle one of 1566 bottled in 2012.
Tasting Notes
Nose - Slightly herbal with tones of mixed fruit and straw.
Palate - Rich, fruity sweetness. Aromatic and a little drying with a touch of spice.
Finish - Long and warming.
