A stunning release from the distillery’s 22 year old range. This whisky from Benriach has been matured in traditional style American bourbon barrels and then finished in dark rum barrels which have been sourced from Jamaica. During the second phase of maturation, the whisky interacts with the wood where additional flavours and aromas of dark rum are picked up and add to the overall flavour profile of this release. Located in the North-east region of Morayshire, the heartland of malt whisky, Benriach displays all the traditional charm of a Speyside distillery. Built by John Duff in 1898, Benriach is one of the few distilleries with its own on-site floor maltings, and draws its water from the Burnside Springs. This product qualifies for Free UK shipping
