Auchroisk, meaning 'ford of the red stream' in Gaelic, lies near the River Spey. It is fed by a burn flowing from Dorie's Well, which provides plentiful spring water for distilling. Established in 1974 this distillery produced a sophisticated single malt whisky. This 1982 is sublime. Fresh and fruity, with real body and structure, it offers complex, silky flavours of fruit and nut. This is bottle No. 2514 of only 2976 bottled in 2012.
