Follow the rocky coast and you will discover the heavenly vista of Traigh Bhan, the beautiful beach know locally as the singing sands... for this captivating place has soft white sands that sing beneath your feet, a hum that ebbs and flows with the wind and the tides. But as beguiling as this place is, don't drop your guard. Bathing is ill-advised in the seemingly tame crystal water where jagged, volcanic rocks pierce the sands along the shore. This dram like its name sake has hidden depths.

This sublime 19 year old whisky is the epitome of an aged Ardbeg. Its elegant taste surprises and beguiles, with intense waves of smokiness that never overwhelm. A rare and special Ardbeg that stays with you, long after the last drop.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of herbal pine and fennel rise up to flow gently on the breeze, foloowed by sharp, tangy wisps of citrusy lime sorbet and medicinal lozenge. a cascade of eucalyptus and saddle soap infiltrates the senses, before hazelnut, sweet vanilla, and currants surge forth, leaving a distant hint of rich minted chocolate in their wake.
Palate: Intense notes of wood smoke and decadent dark chocolate crash over the palate, followed by a ripple of sweet lemon curd and peanut brittle. the allure of this rare dram continues as currents shift to reveal delicate hints of creamy raisin fudge and hazelnut. Delicate wisps of more medicinal and spicy notes begin to emerge in menthol, aniseed, clove and white pepper. sweet and peat collide with creamy vanilla fudge, dark cocoa powder, and a warm, woody clove tingle. When you come to pick up your order, you must bring your order reference number (printed version/text message/email) as well as proof of ID (acceptable forms of ID include the payment card you used to pay for the order; passport; or photocard driving licence). If you paid with Paypal, you must bring your passport or photocard driving licence. Please note that you cannot collect your order until we have seen your proof of ID.

Standard Delivery

Our standard deliveries are made during normal business hours, Monday to Friday; to ensure prompt delivery, someone must be present to sign for the parcel. Any orders placed after 11am on Friday will be sent on the following Monday using a standard 48hr service, for delivery on Wednesday. If in doubt, please contact us at info@thespiritsembassy.com

After processing, (which may be subject to delay if we are out of stock of any items ordered, in which case we will notify you), all orders are despatched using a 48-hour service to most mainland destinations in the UK. For international orders, delivery times vary depending on location. Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight of the product (based on 700ml bottle) and the destination address. Depending on stock availability and the size of your order it may be split and sent in separate parcels arriving at different times.

Please note our couriers do not work bank holidays.

Level of Service:

Please note that we are unable to guarantee the punctuality of service provided by our delivery agents, particularly during spells of difficult weather conditions. If your shipment is delivered unacceptably late after having been collected from us on time by our agent, we will try to secure a P&P refund where appropriate.

Damaged Parcels:

We take pride in packing your order to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition. Unfortunately, there are times when parcels incur damage while in transit. If a parcel shows clear signs of damage or leakage at the time of delivery, we ask that you refuse the parcel. Please ask the courier to return the goods to sender.

Delivery Addresses:

We are happy to delivery your order to an address that is different to your normal billing address. To do this, simply enter the desired delivery address during the checkout process.

We can also deliver your order to your permanent place of employment as long as there is someone who is able to receive and sign for the delivery on your behalf.
