The Ardbeg distillery has been producing whisky on the remote Scottish island of Islay for more than two centuries. Here, Peat bogs and local water forms the basis of a smoky single-malt whisky that has achieved cult status Worldwide. Released in September 2012, the Ardbeg Galileo quickly sold out at retailers. Tasting Notes
Nose - Traditional Ardbeg smoke, sweet and extremely ashy, hints of chocolate, fruit and nut.
Palate - Sweet with subtle smoke, creamy with a touch of spice.
Finish – Long, oaky with aromatic peat smoke and tarry espresso.
