This 20 year old Ardbeg has been cared for and then bottled by Huntly based Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky to become part of their distinguished single cask range. This whisky was distilled in 1994 and was then bottled in 2014 after being matured to perfection in sherry oak cask number 347613 which yielded only 91 bottles. This whisky comes beautifully presented in a leather and hardwood case.
Tasting Notes
Nose - Brandy snaps, sweet oak and berries.
Palate - Smoky and sweet, smooth caramel and toasted marshmallows dipped in milk chocolate.
Finish - A well balanced fusion of smoky and sweet flavours.
